Administering the Phone System

This section describes how to administer the phone system. To get your phone system working quickly, refer to Quick Start for the Phone System. Then, before making too many changes to the default settings, read Customizing your Phone System.

Administrator Privileges

Only users with administrator privileges can administer the phone system. An administrator has access to the Company Settings menus in the web administration interface (WebAdmin), and can therefore manage the following:

• Administering the System with WebAdmin
• Users and Locations
• Call Permission Profiles
• Phone Key Profiles
• Auto Attendant
• Business Hours
• External Contacts/Speed Dials
• Incoming Call Routings
• Business Details
• Phone Inventory
• Call Groups
• ACD Applications
