Configure Group Presence Override Routing from a Phone

About Group Presence Routing - Presence state call routing defines the routing of incoming calls to a call group based on the group’s presence state, and the time of day. The group presence state reflects when a call group is considered to be in the office, away from the office, or away at lunch. The time-of-day is divided into three intervals – In Office, Lunch and Away. The Away interval includes all intervals outside of the In Office and Lunch intervals.

  • Presence state call routing applies to Broadcast, Hunt and Rollover groups only.
  • Your system administrator does the initial configuration of Group Presence State Call Routing.
  • The time zone is configurable - the times configured will be relative to the selected time zone.
  • You can override the configuration.
  • The LED on group presence state key will be updated based on your override selection.

Overriding Group Presence State Call Routing - You can override Group Presence State Call Routing by changing the state to one of In Office, Lunch, Away and Vacation. This can be done by either using

  • In Office, Lunch and Away are are temporary – they revert to the scheduled presence state timetable set by the Tenant Administrator. Vacation is permanent; it will remain in place until it is manually changed.
  • You must be a member of a group to override the group's Group Presence state.
