The Mobile Line feature allows Mitel 6920W, 6930, 6930W, 6940 and 6940W phone users to answer calls to Bluetooth-enabled devices (like cell phones) on their Mitel desktop phone.
To enable the feature, the phone must have a Mobile Line memory key programmed – see Mobile Line in the Programmable Memory Key Features section.
In a typical scenario, a user’s cell phone can be answered on a Mitel desktop phone when the following conditions are in effect:
Under these conditions, the call to the cell phone will cause the Mitel phone to ring.
To answer a cell phone call on your Mitel phone, follow these steps:
If the call is answered on either device, the call is a cell phone call, and is not a silhouette call. In this scenario, the Mitel phone is presenting the ringing and audio for the call.
There will be no entry for the call on the My Calls page, and the silhouette system will not capture call record information. Records for these calls would be available from the cell phone carrier service.
You can pass a Mobile Line call between your Mitel phone and your cell phone as required.
