Informative Login/Logout (Poly)

Informative Login/Logout provides you with more information on the phone display. When you have a Poly phone, it is automatically programmed with a Log out key in the tenth PKM position—except when you are locked to the phone, in which case no key appears. You can also move the feature to another key. If you don't see the key on your phone, press More.

You can also log out using *00—except when you are locked to the phone.

3xx, 4xx, and x50 Series Phones

Since the Poly 3xx, 4xx, and x50 series phones do not have touchpads, you can use the navigation and home keys to log into and out from the phones:

Login

∧—moves the focus input field upward; loops to the bottom
>—moves the focus input field down; loops to the top
∨—moves the focus input field down; loops to the top
<—deletes the last entered character in a input field, such as Extension or PIN

Use the Home key to Enter.

None of the hard keys on the VVX150 device light up.

Logout

All keys switch the focus between YES and QUIT. Use the Home key to Enter.

Error Messages

The following error messages apply to logins:

Max PIN Retries Exceeded—displays when you exceed the maximum number of PIN retries.
Invalid Login. Please try again—displays when you attempt to log in using invalid credentials.
Login limit exceeded—displays when a multi-desk user is at the maximum number of logins allowed.

The following error message applies to logout:

Logout Aborted—displays when you select QUIT on the logout confirmation dialog.
