Reset PIN

To reset a user's PIN, follow these steps:

  1. Click Users and Locations in the left menu.
  2. Click the Last Name to select the user.
  3. Click Save and Reset PIN.

Users will receive their extension and PIN by email if your business has been configured with this option and if the user has a valid email address configured.

  • If the new user's PIN is displayed, it is your responsibility to communicate this information to the user. The PIN notification method for your company is configured by your system administrator. Contact your system administrator for information on how your business has been configured.
  • The PIN referred to here that the user uses to log into their phone and web interface is not the same as the voicemail PIN. See Reset Voicemail PIN.
