Modify a Hunt Group

  1. Select Call Groups in the left menu.
  2. Select the Name corresponding to the Hunt group that you want to modify.
  3. Modify the Hunt group name if required. The Name field cannot be left blank.
  4. Modify the Hunt group type in the Type list (optional).
  5. Add an access PIN into the PIN field to enable Group Presence Control Override Routing via IVR (see Configure Call Group Presence State Call Routing for more information).
  6. Modify the Queue checkbox if necessary.
  7. Modify the Voice Mail checkbox if necessary.
  8. Modify the Call Behavior for the Hunt group.
    • To configure the Hunt group calls to only ring on idle group member phones, select the Only ring phones not in use.
    • To configure the Hunt group calls to ring on all group member phones even if a group member is already on a call, select Ring all phones.
      When Ring all phones is selected, incoming Hunt group calls are still queued when group member phones are ringing because of a call to the same Hunt group. See Managing Group Features.
  9. Click Configure Presence State Routing to configure or modify the group’s presence state routing – see Configure Call Group Presence State Call Routing (optional).
  10. Modify the Members of Call Group list for the selected Hunt group if required.
  11. If you choose to lock users to the call group, clear Allow members to leave group?.
  12. From the After 'x' rings send call to next member list, select how many times you would like a Hunt group member’s phone to ring before the call is transferred to the next member, if required.
  13. Modify Call Coverage for the selected Hunt group (optional).
  14. Click Save.
If a Hunt group has no members assigned to it, or if all members are logged out of their phones, the call goes immediately to call coverage.
